ONE HURT IN NICOLLET COUNTY CRASH

The state patrol was called to a collision between a Volvo CS60 and a Toyota Rav4 Friday afternoon at 1:23 pm at the intersection of Highway 14 and Highway 169 in Nicollet County.  Deputies say the Volvo was driven by 80-year-old Kamakshi Murthy of Sleepy Eye.  Neither she nor her passenger 90-year-old Venkata Murthy of Sleepy Eye were hurt.  The driver of the Toyota 37-year-old Noor Jelle of Mankato wasn’t hurt but his passenger 49-year-old Hakima Mohamed of Mankato was taken to MCHS in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.  Mankato Police and fire department and Mayo ambulance assisted at the scene.
