ONE HURT IN SIBLEY COUNTY CRASH

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office was called to a collision at the intersection of 321st Avenue and 170th Street in rural Washington Lake Township about six miles northeast of Green Isle Monday morning at 11:14 am.  Deputies say  a Ford F-150 pickup driven by 45 Nicholas Molnau of rural Belle Plaine was going south on 321st Avenue, didn’t stop for the stop sign and collided with a Ford Ram pickup driven by 45-year-old Perry Holthaus of rural Hamburg.  The collision caused the Ram to tip onto its driver’s side.  There were four passengers in that vehicle and Holthaus’s juvenile son was taken to a hospital as a precaution with apparent non-life threatening injuries.  No one else reported injuries.  Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.  Hamburg Fire Department and Ridgeview Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
