ONE HURT IN SIBLEY COUNTY MOTORCYCLE VS. DEER CRASH

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office was called to motorcycle vs. deer accident Sunday night at 9:40 pm.  Authorities say the crash happened near the intersection of Sibley County Roads 10 and 7 in Transit Township.  The motorcycle was driven by 34-year-old Riley Dittes of Stewart westbound on County Road 10 when a deer entered the roadway.   Authorities say Dittes sustained a severe head injury and was taken to Hutchinson Hospital.  Winthrop Police and ambulance and Allina ALS assisted at the scene.
