One Injured in Chippewa County Crash

A Montevideo man driving a motorcycle was injured in a crash with a minivan Wednesday in Chippewa County west of Clara City.

The State Patrol says 78-year-old Courtney Freeman was taken to Montevideo Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the minivan, 54-year-old Joshua Guertin of Granite Falls, was not injured.

Both vehicles were traveling eastbound on Highway 7 when the crash happened near 100th Avenue SE at about noon.
