One Injured in McLeod Co Crash

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a pickup and SUV in McLeod County late Saturday morning, east of Silver Lake.

The State Patrol says 18-year-old Hailey Sinnen of New Germany was taken to Hutchinson ER for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. She was a passenger, along with four others, in the SUV driven by 17-year-old Bryn Domjahn of Montrose. They were not injured.

The driver of the pickup, 71-year-old Terry Farkas of Coon Rapids, was also not injured.

The Patrol says the SUV was traveling eastbound on Highway 7 near Grain Avenue. The pickup was westbound on Highway 7 and lost a trailer tire, which then struck the oncoming SUV.
