One Injured in Renville Co Crash

An Olivia man was injured in a one-vehicle crash in Renville County Monday night on the southern edge of Olivia.

The Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Aaron Randgaard was taken to Olivia Hospital and later airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries.

The preliminary crash investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling westbound on 820th Avenue when it left the roadway, sheared off a power pole, and rolled.

The Sheriff’s Office says Randgaard was not wearing a seatbelt and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
