ONE WEEK LEFT TO FILE FOR COUNTY, CITY ELECTIONS

Three positions on the New Ulm City Council are up for election this year.  David Christian filed for First Ward City Councilor and Andrea Boettger has filed for the New Ulm Councilor-At-Large seat.  So far, no candidate has filed for the Third Ward City Council seat.  If you want to run for any of these offices, you need to file an affidavit of candidacy.  Dave Borchert is the only candidate to file for  Brown County office so far.  He has filed for the First District Commissioner seat.   Candidates have until Tuesday to file an affidavit of candidacy.  Candidates for city council must file at city hall.  Brown County candidates must file at the Brown County Courthouse.  Hours are 8 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.  Offices will be open until 5 Tuesday, the final day of filing.
