Pedestrian Hit by Semi in Wright County

A pedestrian was hit by a semi tractor truck in Wright County early this morning (Thursday) in Annandale.

The State Patrol says 45-year-old James Smith of Annandale was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says the truck, driven by 52-year-old Frank Warden of Maple Lake, was traveling westbound on Highway 55 and Smith was walking westbound on Highway 55 at Commercial Drive when contact was made.

The incident happened at about 6am.
