PEDESTRIAN HIT BY VEHICLE IN FAIRFAX
A New Prague woman was hurt when she was hit by a vehicle in Fairfax Sunday afternoon. The state patrol was called at 2:27 pm to Highway 19 and 1st Street Northwest. A Ram 2500 pickup driven by 55-year-old Bruce Thooft of New Prague was starting to go eastbound on Highway 19 from a parking lot and struck 58-year-old Kimberly Jo Thooft of New Prague. She was taken to Robbinsdale Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Bruce wasn’t hurt. Fairfax and Lower Sioux police and the Renville County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
