Poll Finds Two Minnesota Primary Races Too Close to Call

A new K-S-T-P and Survey U-S-A poll shows two Minnesota primary races remain unsettled ahead of Tuesday’s election.

In the Republican race for governor, Mike Lindell has 34 percent support and House Speaker Lisa Demuth has 28 percent. Kendall Qualls is at 17 percent, with 16 percent undecided. The six-point gap is within the poll’s credibility interval.

The D-F-L race for U-S Senate is even tighter. Congresswoman Angie Craig has 42 percent support, while former Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan has 40 percent. Fifteen percent remain undecided.

Michele Tafoya leads the Republican Senate field with 48 percent. Royce White has 13 percent, while 24 percent are undecided.

Survey U-S-A questioned 458 likely Republican primary voters and 578 likely D-F-L primary voters from July 29th through August 4th.
