Potential Thunderstorms to the East This Afternoon

Storms could plow from west to east across Minnesota on Tuesday afternoon, with the line of potentially severe storms moving through the Twin Cities metro around dinner time.

“A line of thunderstorms will move through the area this afternoon & evening. Isolated damaging winds, hail, & a tornado or two are possible, primarily across eastern Minnesota & western Wisconsin,” the National Weather Service says “Widespread rainfall amounts of 0.5-1″ could exacerbate ongoing flooding, especially where locally higher amounts occur”.
