Powerball and Mega Millions Jackpots Top $1.4 Billion

The nation’s two largest lottery jackpots now combine for more than one-point-four billion dollars.

No ticket matched all six Powerball numbers Saturday night, pushing Monday’s estimated jackpot to 633-million dollars. The cash option is 277-point-three million dollars before taxes.

The Mega Millions jackpot has reached an estimated 800-million dollars for Tuesday night’s drawing. Its cash option is approximately 344-point-two million dollars before taxes.

Powerball drawings are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday.

The advertised jackpot amounts are estimates and could increase as additional tickets are sold. Powerball and Mega Millions provide the official totals.
