Propane Torch Suspected in Gnesen Township Fire

Authorities are investigating a structure fire in Gnesen(Guh-knee-sen) Township that caused moderate damage Monday afternoon. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says landscaping work was underway when a propane torch is believed to have ignited the fire. No one was inside the building, and no injuries were reported.
