Randle beats buzzer, Wolves win
(Minneapolis, MN) — Minnesota forward Julius Randle drilled a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Timberwolves past the Phoenix Suns 120-117 yesterday in Minneapolis. Randle ended with 35 points, while Anthony Edwards added 24 as the Wolves improved to 8-6 with their second straight win. Rudy Gobert had 11 points and ten rebounds in the victory. Devin Booker poured in a season-high 44 points for Phoenix, which has lost three in-a-row to fall to 9-5 overall. Apple Valley native Tyus Jones had 13 points and 11 assists in the setback for Phoenix. Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal remain sidelined for the Suns. The Wolves will visit Toronto on Thursday at 6:30 P-M.
