Randle, Edwards each score 24 and Timberwolves top Raptors 112-101

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Julius Randle delivered a strong performance with 24 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 112-101 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night. Anthony Edwards also contributed 24 points, while Rudy Gobert added a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds, along with four blocks.

On the Raptors’ side, Gradey Dick was the standout scorer with 25 points, supported by Scottie Barnes with 20 and Ochai Agbaji with 19.

After trailing by 12 at halftime, Toronto made a push at the start of the third quarter, narrowing Minnesota’s lead to single digits for the first time since the early moments of the game. However, Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, and Randle quickly responded, scoring 13 consecutive points to extend Minnesota’s advantage to 78-56. The Timberwolves maintained control for the remainder of the game.

Looking ahead, the Timberwolves will host the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday in a rematch of last season’s Western Conference finals, while the Raptors will return home to take on the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.
