Raymond “Ray” Scherer

Raymond “Ray” Scherer, age 72, of Prior Lake, MN, fought a good fight and went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024, at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with a gathering from 9:00-10:45 AM, at St. Michael Catholic Church (16400 Duluth Avenue SE) in Prior Lake. Father Frankie Floeder will preside. Ray will be laid to rest at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.

Forever missed, Ray will be forever loved by siblings, Jerry (Rose) Scherer, Willie (Donna) Scherer, Susie McNeal; nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Kristin Puck) Scherer, Jeff Scherer, Matt (Paige) Scherer, Amber Scherer, Nick Scherer; great-niece and nephew, Morgan, Mason; special care giver Ann Pekarna-Wolf; other relatives and devoted friends.

Greeting Ray home in Heaven are his parents, Eugene and Grace Scherer; brothers, Bob Scherer, Kenny Scherer; brother-in-law, Jim E. McNeal; and nephew, Scott Scherer.
