RED FLAG WARNING FOR SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA

Red Flag warnings will go into (are) in effect at 11 am for several southwestern Minnesota counties.  Those counties include Renville, Redwood, Lyon, Murray, Nobles and Kandiyohi Counties.  With strong winds and low humidities, burning is not recommended as any fires could spread rapidly.  Plus fire weather conditions will also be in effect in Brown, Blue Earth, McLeod, Nicollet, Martin, Sibley, Watonwan and Le Sueur Counties this (Thursday) afternoon as well.
