Red Flag Warning – May 12, 2026

A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday for parts of western and southern Minnesota, including Stevens, Pope, Swift, Grant, Douglas, Chippewa, Kandiyohi, and Lac qui Parle counties.

The National Weather Service says strong northwest winds, low humidity, and dry conditions could cause any fires that start to spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
