Red Wings come back to beat Wild
(St. Paul, MN) — Tuesday night the Red Wings turned the tables on the Wild as they rallied for a 3-2 win at Xcel Energy Center. Saturday the Wild were in Detroit and erased a couple of two goal deficits to beat the Wings in overtime. This time, after the Wild got goals from Marco Rossi and Jakub Lauko in the first period, the Wings scored three straight to stun Minnesota in their own building. The loss stops the Wild’s three game win streak as they fall at home to Detroit for the first time since January 12th, 2019. In other Wild news, the team announced that forward Joel Eriksson Ek has been placed on injured reserve with a lower body injury and is listed as week to week. He joins leading scorer Kirill Kaprizov on the shelf as the Wild try and stay in playoff contention. The team will be in Utah on Thursday night and Colorado on Friday.
