RedHawks’ Ninth-Inning Rally Falls Short in 13-12 Loss

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks scored five runs in the ninth inning but fell to the Sioux Falls Canaries 13-to-12 Tuesday night.

Fargo-Moorhead entered the bottom of the ninth trailing by six. An Aidan Byrne fielder’s choice brought home one run before Eric Filia hit a grand slam, pulling the RedHawks within one.

Sioux Falls reliever Will Levine then recorded back-to-back strikeouts to end the comeback attempt.
