Renville Co Grants to Assist with Cleanup of Blighted Properties

(OLIVIA, MN) The Renville County HRA/EDA is announcing a grant program it operates for property owners and local units of government to assist with demolition and cleanup of blighted properties located within Renville County.

Grants of up to $5,000 per residential property or $10,000 per commercial property are available to assist with the proper cleanup of blighted structures that pose a risk to health and safety.

Grants require a 1:1 cash match and are reimbursed upon submission of paid receipts for costs incurred.

The deadline for application to this program is July 1, 2024.

To be eligible for this grant, demolition may not begin on the property until the grant is awarded.
