Renville County Woman Injured in UTV Crash

A Renville County woman was injured in a UTV crash Tuesday evening northwest of Morton.

The Sheriff’s Office says 75-year-old Edna Wertish of rural Morton had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to Centra Care-Redwood Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Authorities say Wertish was traveling eastbound on 720th Avenue in Henryville Township when she lost control of the vehicle, entered the ditch, and the vehicle overturned.

The crash happened just before 5:30pm.
