Rescue Crews in Montana Recover Body of Missing MN College Student
(Learfield News/Cooke City, MT) — Authorities in Montana report finding the body of a college student from Minnesota who had been missing nearly two weeks.
Red Lodge Fire Rescue says search crews spotted the body of Dylan Honnell of Rogers in East Rosebud Creek Tuesday and a helicopter team helped recover his body Wednesday morning.
Investigators said Honnell fell into the rapids on the creek while hiking on July 12th. Twenty-year-old Honnell was a sophomore at Montana State University and a 2022 graduate of Rogers High School.
