RIBBON CUTTING FOR NEW RED ROCK CENTRAL SCHOOL BUILDING
Voters in the Red Rock Central school district approved a $41-million bond in 2021 to fund the construction of a two-section school. Friday, the fruits of that labor were realized when ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of the new school building on Birch Street in Lamberton just east of the old facililty. School board members, administrators and dignitaries were on hand to celebrate the new school. The new building has a capacity of 500 students. Superintendent Todd Lee said, as the ribbon was cut that they are opening a new chapter in their lives and the history of Red Rock Central. The district will hold an open house Friday, November 22 from 5 – 7 pm.
