Richard John “Rick” Hanzlik
Richard John “Rick” Hanzlik, age 66, passed away on January 31, 2026, at Lakeside Nursing Home, Dassel, Minnesota.
Rick was a long-time resident of Montgomery and member of the Wheatland Twin Lakes Sportsman’s club. Rick retired to Dassel in 2021 where he enjoyed traveling. Rick is survived by wife Gwen Hanzlik of Dassel; Cousins Gale Patrick and family in Duluth and David Hajicek and family of Minnetonka.
Rick is preceded in death by parents Millie and Jerry Hanzlik of Montgomery, and fiancé Becky Long.
Celebration of life will be held later this year at the completion of his anatomy bequest to the University of Minnesota.
