Rita Margaret (Pieper) Gestach, age 92, of Carver, MN, formerly of Chaska, MN, died peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Society of Waconia, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 28 2026, 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 218 West Second Street, Chaska, MN. The visitation will be 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM also at the church on Thursday. The burial will be at Guardian Angels Catholic Cemetery, Chaska, MN.

Survivors include her children, Kathleen (Lance) Kloempken of Hamburg, Diane (Jim) Buranen of Palisade, Gary Gestach of Chaska, Wayne Gestach of Chaska; 4 grandchildren, Jason (Angela) Kloempken, Brian Kloempken, Eric Kloempken, Tim (Erin) Kloempken; 6 great grandchildren, Jack, Waylon, Grace, Levi, Hazel and Ruth; stepchildren, Brian (Dana) Buranen and their children, Layla and Delilah; siblings, James Pieper, Jerome (Joan) Pieper, Agnes Bluemke; sister-in-law, Carol Gestach; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements are with the Bertas Funeral Home of Chaska, MN.
