Rochester Daycare Worker Charged in Toddler Punishment Case

A Rochester daycare worker is facing a gross-misdemeanor charge after allegedly striking a two-year-old child.

Court documents say surveillance video from May 18th shows 54-year-old Connie Keller hitting the toddler in the mouth with the back of her hand. The child was examined by medical staff, who found no injuries.

Keller is charged with malicious punishment of a child. Her first court appearance is scheduled for November 12th.
