Ron Ginkel

Ron Ginkel, age 84, of Shakopee, entered eternal life on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Ron was born on November 3, 1939, in Nicollet, MN, the son of Edward and Bertha (Knudson) Ginkel.

Preceded in death by his wife of nearly 61 years, Kathy (Buchtel) Ginkel; and infant sister, Gladys. He is survived by his two children, Rick (Kathy) Ginkel, and Kelly (Steve) Robbins; five grandchildren, Kayla, Derrick, Angie (Coty Tutsch), Drew & Alisa; four great grandchildren, Kaiden, Hadlee, Myles and Cooper; sisters, LaVonne Duede, Karn (Earl) Fuller, and Bonnie Hipp; and of course his beloved chaweenie, Windsor.

Visitation Monday July 15, 2024 from 9-11 AM; followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, at The Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne – St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 535 Lewis St. S., in Shakopee. Interment Catholic Cemetery, Shakopee. Luncheon immediately following burial and will be held at the Shakopee V.F.W.
