Rosemount Girls Selected to Sound Vikings’ Gjallarhorn

The Rosemount High School girls flag-football team is receiving a major honor from the Minnesota Vikings.

The 2026 state champions have been selected to sound the Gjallarhorn at U.S. Bank Stadium. A game date has not been publicly announced.

Rosemount captured the championship in June with a 45-to-12 victory over Rogers. Girls flag football grew from 51 Minnesota high school programs last year to 104 this season.
