Rotten Tomatoes Will Now Look A Little Different To Users

Rotten Tomatoes, the online movie review site that rates movies on a Tomatometer Scale,  has launched a new badge to honor fan-favorite films with a high score rating.

The new “Verified Hot” Popcornmeter badge will be joining the popular “Certified Fresh” Tomatometer badge. The Tomatometer badge is given to the highest praised films by critics and this latest Popcornmeter badge will be awarded to films with verified audience scores of 90% or higher.

Some of the summer’s biggest movies to first be “Verified Hot” are:
“Deadpool & Wolverine”
“Twisters”
“Bad Boys: Ride or Die”
“Fly Me to the Moon”
“It Ends with Us”
“Inside Out 2”

The”Verified Hot” badge will also be installed retroactively on over 200 films with a verified audience score of 90% or higher since the launch of Rotten Tomatoes’ verified audience ratings in May 2019.
