RURAL BLUE EARTH COUNTY FARM FAMILY WINS NATIONAL FARM BUREAU AWARD

A farm family from Blue Earth County has been awarded the American Farm Bureau Achievement Award.  Dan and Megan Roberts are believed to be the first farm family in Minnesota to win this award.  The Roberts operate a farrow to finish operation with row crop corn and soybeans near Butternut.  The award is given to farmers 35 years or younger and are heavily involved in Farm Bureau and the community.  They were interviewed as part of the KNUJ Farm Forum Friday afternoon.  You can listen to the Farm Forum at knuj.net.
