Scattered Showers Give Way to Drier Wednesday

Drier Weather Returns Across Much of Minnesota Wednesday

Scattered showers remain possible in parts of Minnesota Tuesday, but western sections of the state will see more sunshine. Quieter weather is expected statewide Wednesday.

Northwestern Minnesota

Mostly sunny and seasonable Tuesday, with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Northwest winds will run around 5 to 15 miles per hour. Skies become mostly clear Tuesday night, with lows in the lower to middle 50s. Wednesday will be sunny and slightly warmer, with highs in the lower to middle 80s.

Red River Valley

The Red River Valley will be mostly sunny Tuesday, with highs near 80 and a light northwest wind. Tuesday night will be mostly clear and cooler, with lows near 50. Sunshine continues Wednesday as temperatures climb into the lower to middle 80s. A slight chance of rain returns late Wednesday night, followed by warmer and breezier conditions Thursday.

Central Minnesota

Central Minnesota will see a mix of clouds and sunshine Tuesday. A few scattered showers are possible, but much of the day should remain dry. Highs will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s. Skies clear Tuesday night, with lows in the 50s. Wednesday looks mostly sunny and dry, with seasonable temperatures in the lower 80s.

Southwestern Minnesota

Scattered showers or thunderstorms remain possible Tuesday, mainly during the afternoon. Rainfall will be spotty, and many locations will stay dry. Highs will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s. Drier air moves in Tuesday night, followed by sunshine and highs in the lower to middle 80s Wednesday.
