School Board Approves Levy Request

The Thief River Falls School Board has approved a $900 per pupil operating levy request. 

Thief River Falls Public Schools voted to approve presenting voters with an operating levy referendum at its August 12th meeting. 

Voters can expect to see the levy request on the November 5th ballot. 

Superintendent Chris Mills cites inflation, a lack of state funding, and decreased student enrollment that “is expected to decrease further in the future” as reasons for the levy request.
