Here is the scorecard from Wednesday night.

College Men’s Basketball:

Gustavus saw their 19 game winning streak snapped by Carelton, the Knights hold off the Gusties and pick up a 74 to 70 win. Martin Luther stays alive in the playoff chase with a 77 to 66 win over Crown. Adam Loberger reached the 1,000 career point mark. Bethany Lutheran picks up a 90 to 83 road win over Northwestern.

College Women’s Basketball:

Gustavus wins big over Carelton 73 to 36, Crown College defeats Martin Luther 71 to 69 and Bethany Lutheran was a 63 to 56 winner over Northwestern.

Section Girl’s Hockey:

Mankato East is the Section 2A champion. The Cougars defeat Minnesota River 2 to 1. Brielle Newton had the game winning goal midway thru the third period.
