Here is the scorecard from Thursday night.

Section Girl’s Basketball Championships:

Section 3A-Central Minnesota Christian defeats Hills/Beaver Creek 55 to 33 to head to the State next week.

Section 3AA champion is New London/Spicer. The Wilcats hold off fairmont 61 to 54 to advance to the tournament.

Section 2AA-Marshall heads back to state again, with an 84 to 69 victory over Jordan.

Section Boy’s Basketball:

2A finals-Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton defeats Cleveland 92 to 65, the Bulldogs will take on Nicollet, the Raiders defeat Mayer Lutheran 74 to 68. Madelia battled GFW to a 76 to 69 victory. the Blackhawks will now play Springfield in semi’s on Monday, the Tigers win big over Loyola 92 to 59.

2AA-Belle Plaine wins big over Albert Lea 101 to 51, Blue Earth eliminates LCWM 58 to 53, Glencoe/Silver Lake 81 to 58 and Waseca defeats Maple River 80 to 60. Semi’s will be Monday at Minnesota State.
