Upper Midwest Classic:

Sleepy Eye wins a pair, 9 to 0 over West Fargo and 5 to 2 over Byron. Mankato Nationals defeat West Fargo 8 to 7 and lose to Byron 4 to 3. New Ulm Gold comes from behind to defeat Springfield, NE 6 to 5. Games continue at four parks Saturday.

Jr Legion:

New Ulm picks up a pair of wins in Sioux Falls. Post 132 defeats Sioux Falls West 8 to 7 and East Grand Forks 6 to 5.

Tomahawk East:

Sleepy Eye defeats Searles 8 to 1, Courtland was a 9 to 8 winner over Stark. Milroy wins a non-league game over Lamberton 11 to 1 in eight and Fairfax defeats Cleveland 13 to 0 in seven.

Crow River:

Glencoe shuts out Plato 7 to 0, Young America walks off Waconia 12 to 11, Norwood was a 9 to 8 winner over Hamburg and Brownton picks up a make up win over Westonka 15 to 2 in eight.

River Valley:

Lesueur was an 11 to 9, twelve inning win over Union Hill, Jordan shuts out Montgomery 5 to 0, Gaylord was an 11 to 1,seven inning win over St Peter and Jackson holds off the Lake Crystal 9 with a 6 to 4 win.
