Tomahawk East:

New Ulm stays on top of the league with an 8 to 0 win over Essig, Courtland ten runs Fairfax 14 to 3 in seven, Hanska edges Searles 5 to 4 and Leavenworth was an 11 to 3 winner over Gibbon.

Crow River:

Watertown defeats Green Isle 3 to 2, Young America shuts out Cologne 3 to 0, Browton defeats Arlington 3 to 1 and Hutchinson gets a non-league win over Carver 11 to 3.

District 2 VFW finals:

First round scores-Marshall defeats Hutchinson 5 to 1, Chaska defeats New Ulm Silver 7 to 2, Sleepy Eye was a 4 to 1 winner over Mankato Nationals. Cooper Walter tossed the complete game, giving up a run on five hits , striking out 10 and New Prague shuts out the Mankato Americans 10 to 0. Winners play at 9am and 11:30am at Wolverton, the losers play 9am and 11:30am at Minnesota State.

Summer Softball series:

Rustic River Construction defeats Hoffmann Land Spraying/Sleepy Eye Sprinkling 13 to 6.
