Volleyball:

Maple Lake cones to New Ulm to defeat the Eagles 3 to 2, MVL wins in straight sets over St James, Lesueur/Henderson defeats Tri City United 3 to 2, Cleveland was a 3 to 0 winner over Cathedral, Sleepy Eye defeats GHECML/Truman 3 to 1, St Mary’s was a 3 to 1 winner over Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey, Wabasso wins in straight sets over YME and MACCRAY defeats BOLD 3 to 1.

Soccer:

New Ulm boys shut out SW Minnesota Christian 6 to nil, Mankato East girls  defeat New Ulm 6 to 1 and Byron girls defeat St Peter 5 to 1.

Tennis:

St Peter wins a pair of matches defeating Litchfield 5 to 2 and Maple River 6 to 1, USC was a 7 to 0 winner over River Valley.

Vikings play Broncos tonight:

The Minnesota Vikings close out the N-F-L preseason with an exhibition game tonight at Denver. Kickoff is set for 8 P-M. Coverage begins at 7pm on SAM 107.3.

Twins Host White Sox:

The 64-70 Twins have dropped five out of six games and sit six-and-a-half games out of first place in the American League Central Division.  Minnesota will open a three-game series against first-place Chicago tonight at Target Field. Coverage begins at 6:30pm on KNUJ.
