Twins snap skid:

The Minnesota Twins salvaged their series finale against the New York Yankees after walking off with a 5-4 win in 13 innings at Target Field yesterday. Victor Caratini drove in the game-winning run with an R-B-I single. Minnesota had dropped three in a row. Outfielder Luke Keaschall collected three hits, scored twice and drove home a run in the victory. Ryan Kriedler hit his seventh homer, while rookie Ben Ross doubled. The 71-81 Twins will start a four-game series tonight against the Angels in Anaheim. First pitch is at 8:38 P-M. Listen for coverage on KNUJ and SAM 107.3.

Vikings In Chicago on Sunday:

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray is trying to make a quick return to the lineup. Murray was a limited participant at practice yesterday as he works his way through concussion protocol. He suffered the head injury on a big hit during Minnesota’s Week One win over the Green Bay Packers. If Murray can’t go, Carson Wentz would start under center for the Vikes against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Both the Bears and Vikings are 1-0. Kickoff is set for noon in the Windy City.

Tomahawk volleyball tonight on SAN 107.3. Springfield travels to Sleepy Eye to take on the Storm. First serve a little after 7pm.
