Section FB Champions

Eight are football teams are Section champi0ns and headed to State competition.

Section 2 Nine Man champion is Renville County West, The Jaguars scored a touchdown in the 3rd and 4th quarters to defeat Cathedral 12 to 0.

Section 3 Nine Man champion is Hills/Beaver Creek. The Patriots are a 37 to 8 winner over Mountain Lake Area.

Section 2A champion is Lester Prairie. Lester Prairie defeats USC 14 to 6.

Section 3A champion for the third year in  a row is the Springfield Tigers. The Tigers defeat Murray County Central 20 to 10.

Section 5A champion for the third straight year is Minneota. The defending State Champs come from behind to defeat the BOLD Warriors 34 to 28.

Section 3AA champion is Jackson County Central. The huskies crush Pipestone 48 to 7.

Section 3AAA champion is Fairmont. the Cardinals defeat Waseca 17 to 12.

Section 2AAAA champion is the Marshall Tigers. The Tigers defeat Hutchinson 35 to 13.

Seeding for all classes will be this weekend. Quarterfinal games will be played Thursday and Friday.
