Serious Injury Reported After Golf Cart Collides with Semi on HWY 32

A Red Lake Falls area woman was seriously injured when the golf cart she was driving collided with a semi over the weekend in Red Lake County. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 74 year old Janice Jeanne Olson was injured when crossing Highway 32 at 7th Street in Red Lake Falls.  Olson was taken to a West Fargo hospital and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as life threatening.  The driver of the semi suffered no apparent injury. 

Authorities responded around 9:30am Friday.
