Several Injured in 3-vehicle McLeod Co Crash

Five people were injured in a three-vehicle crash in McLeod County Sunday morning south of Brownton.

The State Patrol says the three vehicles were all northbound on Highway 15 when they collided at the intersection of 40th Street.

The driver of a minivan, 54-year-old Gary Nelson of Winsted, was taken to Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver and passenger in a pickup, 48-year-old Neil Winterfeldt and 14-year-old Ty Winterfeldt of Winsted, were taken to Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of an SUV, 42-year-old Tyler Reedy of St. Paul, was taken to Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. One of his passengers, 32-year-old Moriah Reedy of St. Paul, was also taken to Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Two other passengers in his vehicle were not injured.

The crash happened just before 10:30am.
