Several Instances of Over-Limit of Walleye Reported
Authorities are keeping an eye on how many fish are being taken in Northwest Minnesota as conservation officers this week report several instances of over-limit of walleye.
Ben Huener in Roseau says enforcement action was taken on a group of five anglers with over their limit of walleyes. Coby Fontes in Warroad says enforcement action was taken against two separate groups of anglers for possessing nearly double the legal limit of walleyes and saugers.
Fontes encourages anglers to follow possession regulations “because not doing so directly impacts the wellbeing of the lake”.
