Shed Destroyed in Stearns County Fire

A shed on an abandoned farm site in Stearns County was destroyed by fire Wednesday night.

The Sheriff’s Office says at just after 10:30pm, they received multiple calls regarding a building fire located on County Road 136 in St. Augusta, about five miles south of St. Cloud.

When crews arrived, they found a fully engulfed shed on the west side of the property. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire without it spreading to other buildings.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
