Shirley Ann Horneman

Shirley Ann Horneman, age 87 formerly of Le Sueur, passed away on July 11, 2024 at Meadow Lakes Senior Living in Rochester, MN. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur, MN. Visitation will be the same day from 9:30-11 A.M. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. Luncheon to follow the burial in the church social hall.

Shirley was born on October 13, 1936 in Le Sueur to Arnold and Amanda (Smith) Dahn. She grew up in Le Sueur and attended Le Sueur Public Schools. She married Melford Horneman on November 20, 1954 at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur. She worked at ADC and Telex in Le Sueur. She was a life-long member of Zion United Church of Christ. She enjoyed all kinds of baking, and spending time with her family. Especially her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her children, Melford Horneman, Jr. of St. Paul, MN, and Vicki (Douglas) Warzala of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Amanda Horneman(Andy Caldwell), Sarah Horneman (Conner Di Persio), Elizabeth Horneman (Dustin Auwerter), Danielle (Kevin) Truckenmiller, and Michael (Alexandra) Warzala; great-grandchildren, Liam Horneman, Dakota Truckenmiller and Mieka Truckenmiller; brothers, Edward (Judy) Dahn, Milo Dahn and Sister-in-law Sherin (Ron) Dahn; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melford; great-granddaughter, Teagan Horneman; and 5 siblings, Audrey Hornaman, Myron Dahn, Lowell Dahn, Larry Dahn and Sandra Dahn.
