Shorthanded Wolves lose to Sixers

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Philadelphia 76ers snapped their four-game losing streak with a 135-108 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center last night. The Sixers led by as many as 29 points in the victory. Tyrese Maxey poured in 39 points to lead Philadelphia, while V-J Edgecombe chipped in with 24. The 76ers are in sixth place in the N-B-A Eastern Conference with a 31-26 record. Minnesota star Anthony Edwards finished with 28 points and seven of his team’s 20 turnovers in the losing effort. The Wolves played with out Rudy Gobert, who was suspended and Naz Reid, who was sitting out with shoulder soreness. The Timberwolves had their three-game winning streak snapped and sit at 35-23. Minnesota will visit Portland tomorrow night at 9 P-M.
