SIBLEY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING STABBING

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after receiving a report of a 16-year-old male who was stabbed in Faxon Township Saturday evening.  Authorities received the call at 9:50 pm and found the victim with a puncture wound in the abdomen area.  The victim was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.  A male suspect was apprehended at their residence and is in custody at the Sibley County Jail.  Several agencies are assisting in the investigation including the Belle Plaine police, fire and rescue, Jordan, New Prague and Shakopee police departments, the Scott County Sheriff’s Department and Ridgeview Medical.
