SLEEPY EYE APPROVES FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS

The Sleepy Eye City Council has unanimously approved a fireworks permit to continue firing off fireworks over Sleepy Eye Lake on the Fourth of July.  The city budgeted $8000 for fireworks which start around 9:45 pm.  The city council also approved a permit for the Freedom Valu Center to sell fireworks.  The July Fourth celebration is held every year in Allison Park.
