SLEEPY EYE MEMORIAL DAY PROGRAM, MAYOR PELZEL SAYS IT IS A DAY TO GRIEVE AND CELEBRATE

The Sleepy Eye Memorial Day program was held Monday morning at Home Cemetery.  Guest speaker was Mayor Wayne Pelzel.  He noted that for many, Memorial Day means the unofficial start of summer but to many others, it means much, much more.  Pelzel also noted that it is a day to both grieve and celebrate……………………………………PELZEL

Pelzel noted that the resting place of those fallen should not be the only place to visit and reflect.  He encouraged everyone to do as much good as possible in honor of those fallen to make the world a better place.
