SUSPECT IN CUSTODY STEMMING FROM SLEEPY EYE SCHOOLS’ THREAT

Sleepy Eye Police and school district have both confirmed a suspect is in custody stemming from threats against Sleepy Eye Public and St. Mary’s Schools Tuesday morning.  Schools were placed under a soft lockdown during the day as police investigated a threat that was distributed on Tik Tok toward both Public and St. Mary’s.  Police did not identify any credible threat and monitored the schools throughout the day.  Operations will return to normal Wednesday
